StartUp Hutch’s Housing Entrepreneurship Program is a new two-year pilot program designed to help local contractors and skilled trades professionals launch, strengthen, and grow sustainable businesses while increasing Reno County’s capacity to build and renovate housing.

The program is led by Jim Gruver, a longtime local contractor with more than 40 years of experience across residential and commercial construction, including custom homes, multifamily housing, development, and subcontracting.

Program Details

• For: Contractors and skilled trades professionals interested in starting, strengthening, or growing a business

• Program start: Week of October 7

• Session dates: Wednesday evenings, October 14 through January 6

• Registration: Free. Register by October 2. 

 

The Housing Entrepreneurship Program is designed to provide practical, industry-informed support for people building businesses in construction and the skilled trades.
