Coaching Corner: Rewire Kansas

July's coaching highlight is Rewire Kansas. Started in 2026 by a group from Service Plus Electric, including Service Plus founder Steven Michael Brown, Rewire Kansas is a nonprofit based in Hutchinson that provides rewires for old homes to individuals who cannot afford them. This work mitigates fire risk and modernizes the existing housing supply. 

Through work with StartUp Hutch, Rewire Kansas has begun the process of establishing a 501(c)(3) and has registered with the State of Kansas. They hope to expand to become a regional or even statewide organization reaching electricians and homeowners across Kansas.
