StartUp Hutch announced the addition of two new members to their board of directors, Jessica Schmidt and Johannah Moore.
Jessica Schmidt is broker/owner at Reign Real Estate and resident of rural Haven. Schmidt attended Kansas State University, where she got her degree in Nutrition in Exercise Science. Discouraged by local job opportunities related to her degree, she tried out various career paths until she found her niche in real estate. Schmidt later decided to open her own brokerage.
Johannah Moore is the Branch President at Peoples Bank and Trust’s 30th Street location in Hutchinson, KS and also assists with her husband’s business, Moore & Webb Chiropractic. Moore lives in Hutchinson.
“Jessica and Johannah possess an entrepreneurial mindset that is needed to keep our organization on the right path,” said Jackson Swearer, StartUp Hutch Program Director and Entrepreneur Navigator.
Schmidt and Moore join current board members Jeni Bryan (Board Chair, Jackson Meat), Eric Spurgeon (Vice-Chair, Tarhun 3D), Brett Henry (Treasurer, Adams Brown), Nick Baldetti (Secretary, Hutchinson Regional Medical Center), Scott Cooley (Heartland Credit Union), Bryce McFarland (Hutchinson Community College), Anna Woods (SheStrength), Melinda Young (Melinda Young Law) and Shane Iwashige (The Rock Group).
